WHAT HAVE YOU MISSED?

New Classy London Greeting Cards

A couple of years ago I launched a new range of London greeting cards which has since been expanded.  These unique pencil drawings capture familiar locations throughout London we recognise and associate with areas.  As pencil drawings they have an innocents and simplicity that only graphite can create.

These cards are ideal for writing a personalised note. They could be for a Birthday; Thank you; Love Note; Anniversary; Get Well Soon; Thinking of you; Wedding Card; Sorry your leaving. The list is endless but you get the idea.

The envelopes have also been embossed giving the recipient that quality touch.

They are available online and only in a selection of retail outlets throughout London. We are looking to expand on that.

BERMONDSEY FESTIVAL 2019 WEB PIC.jpg

Bermondsey Festival

Bermondsey Festival

Saturday 18th September 2021

Some events in the social calendar get me all excited and this one definitely holds a special place in my heart.

The Bermondsey street festival is the culmination of local artists, photographers, craft makers, craft food and drink, live music, dancing and competitions making this an awesome day out.  The festival celebrates what I like to refer to as all things great about Bermondsey.  A community of many independent businesses striving to make a difference to our high street.

I can’t stress enough how enjoyable the day is for all. Bermondsey Street has always been a popular location with the White Cube, Fashion & Textile Museum and Glass blowing to name a few attractions. Not forgetting all the fantastic restaurants that line the street. This event just adds to the excitement. Plus being outdoors one can enjoy the weather too.

If you do come along, don’t be shy and do say hello.

Maltby Street Market / Ropewalk | London Impressionist Painting
from £150.00

Stunning Giclee Colour Print | Great for Gifting

London artist M. Rodwell presents a captivating acrylic painting of Maltby Street, now available as limited edition prints. The scene colourfully captures the bustling market's charm, where locals and tourists gather at weekends for artisan food stalls and bars.

Allegedly, Maltby Street Market's origin traces back to Borough Market traders who utilized railway arches for storage. In 2009, Monmouth Coffee Company initiated Saturday coffee sales, inspiring other traders. However, in 2011, seven traders were ousted from Borough Market for participating in a competing venue.

Elevate your living or workspace with a curated collection of London prints adorning your walls. The pairing of prints creates an exquisite ambiance and captivating displays, enhancing your surroundings with aesthetic allure.

Lively Giclee East Dulwich Print | Excellent as Gifts

With masterful skill, the artist captures a tranquil Sunday stroll through the enchanting streets of East Dulwich, featuring a man leisurely accompanied by his Doberman Pinscher. The dog's glossy coat glistens under the gentle embrace of sunlight, while the graceful shadows cast by the trees of Goose Green lovingly adorn the road. As one's gaze extends into the distance, the captivating Victorian residences lining Tintagel Crescent come into view, a harmonious fusion of historical grandeur and timeless charm.

A mere stone's throw from the scene lies Lordship Lane, East Dulwich's oldest thoroughfare. This ancient street predates the late 19th-century developments, bearing witness to the area's transformation from open fields and market gardens into the Victorian suburbs between 1865 and 1885.

Tower Bridge City Slicker | Icon London Landmark Print
from £39.00

Pencil Drawings | A Wonderful Choice for Presents

M. Rodwell's pencil drawing showcases Tower Bridge. In the artwork, a weary city worker pedals homeward across the bridge after a screen-filled day, his wind-blown tie symbolizing liberation as he claims the road's centre in evening traffic.

A little-known fact about Tower Bridge history. Its two high-level walkways were initially designed for pedestrian use even when the bridge was open. Interestingly, these walkways slipped into disrepair and transformed into London's impromptu red-light districts, catering to night-time clients. They ceased operation in 1910 but are now part of the Tower Bridge Exhibition.

Elevate your space with designer flair through our range of pencil prints. Enhance your environment by complementing the framed pencil print with diverse drawings. Experience the transformation into captivating artistry for your home or office.
